Evening one and all.

I trust all is well in one’s own quarter? I myself requite myself with the pastimes of watching moving pictures upon my box of many lights; sat within my artificial cave constructed by hands I do not know.

It is a strange world in which I live, where sunlight spills into any room at the flick of a tiny lever, and the power of lightening has been tamed within a metallic box to warm food. Such is the world of now, in which we live!

It is an amazing thing - to see today’s world through yesterday’s eyes - you should try it sometime; perhaps it will help some people not to take everything for granted.

Such an odd world I have awoken to. For no longer the cockrel crows for me to alight from my bed….I am instead to hasten by some sort of insect buzzing in a small box with glowing numbers on the front…T’is the devils own work I tell you!!

For once outside I see a world where all of nature has replaced our beasts of burden with metal dragons that breathe smoke and fire. Oh how I weep for yesterday….

Even now as I look upon the sky, I see a broken ocean filled with birds not of the feathered kind, and odd looking giant insects that have spinning wings likened to that of a sycamore seed falling….this is much for my cleric mind to take in.

Hehehe….I could go on for ages, but I have of course been watching a bit of a flick on telly and well. It made me think a bit, how interesting this world would be to someone of the past?

I won’t tell you what film I watched, instead I will ask you a question, and if you can answer it correctly maybe, then you can guess the film….

“Just what on earth is a Homunculus???

In an advent stylee!

MERRY CHRISTMAS!

Can’t blog for long as I will be out all afternoon with the band playing carols and being generally merry (though I AM driving so it will not be alcohol induced merryment) - Last night I watched “Mr and Mrs Smith” on DVD and must admidt although I was put off from seeing it at the cinema; it’s actually not that bad at all! Very enjoyable with a good measure of irony in many of the puns! Made me laugh anyway.

I am back at work on Monday, so the countdown is well and truly on. Also an update on my phone, basically - T-Mobile offered me a neat package which inticed me to leave Vodafone; however, T-Mobile couldn’t furnish me with the phone model I really wanted, though the tarrif was better. Since speaking with them Vodafone who originally wanted me to pay £90 for the model I wanted called me back to say - “Please don’t go….” and have once more won my loyatly after a little playing around over the tarrif they could offer, PLUS I don’t pay the £90 for the phone.

My advice for anyone who wants a new handset on a mobile contract is simple. DO NOT ASK FOR AN UPGRADE Just ring em up and say, sorry but I have found a better deal else where….(make sure your contract terms is up first though - otherwise this tactic may not work)

Well enough consumer tips from me for now. I am off to get my uniform ready etc….
