It would be great if all the time you did something “Above and Beyond” that people would take proper notice and say, “You know what? That was Bloody Darn good of you…THANKYOU!” - the trouble is by and large the majority of people in society today live in a blame culture and it kind of rubs off.

All too often we are remembered for our failures and faults instead of all the GOOD things we achieve.

It’s also nice to be recognised of the fact we are sometimes fallible and get things wrong. Those who stand up and say “Ah well um….actually I kinda did this or that wrong…”, a person like this is demonstrating comprehension of a mistake and has learned….I draw the line of distinction here where criminal activity is concerned; there simply is no excuse for 99.99999% of crime (that percentage chosen because we simply DON’T live in a world of absolutes).

Oh well…..sigh.

The biggest CRIME of all in my opinion is the fact that we blame each other too much, perhaps the only one you can blame with any conviction is yourself - for falling into the same mould as everyone else.

When was the last time you thanked a shopkeeper for serving you and ACTUALLY meant what you said (without it simply being a automatic response like…hello or goodbye) and be honest with yourself. Or took the trouble to learn their name from the name-tag and used it?

Things I miss in society today -

Honesty
Sincerity
Modesty
Respect
Balance

Another thing I miss terribly are “Champions” no matter what it is, or where you are….when I was growing up there werer always champions - people (probably ordinary outside of public view) who would act as advocates for different areas in society….

Who will be the “Lord Kitchener” for the 21st Century? Will we ever see anyone to INSPIRE future generations. Will politicians ever learn to INSPIRE fullstop? Will the Nolan Sisters ever appear on telly again?

Moral of this post:-“The more people blame for mistakes, the more likley mistakes are going to happen, instead of being encouraged by all the praise which SHOULD occur for the good things that happen”

I’d like to end this post by saying a BIG THANK YOU!!! to all my friends out there, who put up with so much CRAP rubbish from me, and yet continue somehow to be my friends…you are the heart and soul of a caring humanity that is sadly on the decline.
