For the benefit of one reader, who really is way too nosey these days!!

Last Friday, after we parted ways (not like Moses though); me and other calleague (Let’s call him Dave for the sake of anonymity…) - Damn!? That doesn’t work? ok ok um…anyways - we ended up going to Stoke for a bit of a reckon as I had never really been out there before. Sorry if this turns boring real quick but hey that’s the effect of alcohol sometimes.

First stop was a Walkabout theme pub, which was refreshing because I had been to a few of them before, we had a few JD’s with Coke and checked out the local flora and fawna.

Then moved onto a nightclub called Liquid - which on this particular occasion was ordinary at best, felt a lot like Steam in Crewe but without the stench, small amount of boogying ensued by me, even though the alcohol really made me rather disinclined to dance. While “Dave” hugged his JD+Coke (xN yeah we lost count fairly early on!) - making fun of pretty much everything to walk past; including me (ok mainly me). Drank more, danced a bit more, I caught site of a promising target; to which “Dave” suggested with a knowing look “Way out of your league” I hesitated and before I knew it someone else moved in on my quarry (story of my life); we then meet SMUG “Dave” proven right as usual - more drinking, more dancing the rest is history….maybe it was a Friday thing? Dunno - At least the Blonde in the white bikini doing her go-go dance bit was fun! Decor felt a little dated too, maybe I’m too fussy. I am sure I will probably give it another try.

Where has this day gone? I just haven’t stopped all day. It isn’t getting any better; well at least I get to let my hair down tomorrow evening, courtesy of some clients (yay for the odd perk here and there!!)

I will blog again later hopefully once my day has slowed down again. At which point I will share another of my home made recipes!
