Finally some light at the end of the tunnel, only took two months for them to send out a returns bag, and put a hold on the bills as a disputed amount! Will hopefully say “The End” to all this sorry story of Mis-Telecommunications by next Friday.
The moral of this story, regardless of carrier be it T-Mobile, Orange, Vodafone etc… If you express a wish to return your phone within the Statutory period - make absolutley sure you put it in WRITING rather then EMAIL - it’s far less likley to get missed.

Well,
During the course of today, I have sent of a recorded delivery letter to the Debt Agency who have finally seen sence and put all proceedings on hold for the next two weeks; amazing what a sensible phone call can achieve it would appear last night was nothing more than scare tactics.
I have been in touch with a free legal helpline which is available to me. They have confirmed after I told them my story from the beginning that the law so far appears to be on my side, and the burden at present definitley lies with T-Mobile. I will give T-Mobile the opportunity to put this right tonight with a simple phone call to me, otherwise I will be raising a complaint to Otelo the telecoms ombudsman - phone number 0845 050 1614 - on the advice of the legal helpline.
Doesn’t do anything to recover the lack of sleep I had last night though…and any of the stress this has incurred over the last two months! T-Mobile have a lot to answer for. I will not be letting this go without a formal complaint going in to their directors…
