…It is always a wonder and a woe, when you mix the conjured magic of Tim Burton and a bottle of Shiraz. Not to mention the finery that is of course Johnny Depp - a most masterful actor of our time whether in the flesh or not, as this particular case may be. I don’t just dare to pun on the film either, for technically for him it wasn’t in the flesh anyway!! So there!

Still feeling full of lurgy despite a bottle of Shiraz to give my liver something to think about overnight…meh! It’s Friday I consider it allowed ok?

I “was” going to pop out to the pub and maybe partake in some kaoroke with friends; bit since I am dying a slow death (and I have the lurgy) I figured it was safer for me to go on a minor Blockbuster fest.

First up - though I haven’t mentioned it yet was “Duece Bigalow - European Gigolo” - It’s an aquired taste in humour but thankfully one that is compatible with mine, raised more than one good laugh out of me, and despite the title not quite a titilating as you might think - more entertaining in fact with some nice little “tributes/puns” on other films - there was a very definite “JAWS” reference going on there that was very funny indeed

Second up (of course) which so HAS been mentioned because I always enjoy anything Tim Burton can conjure up, he has an imagination so like mine it almost makes me afraid to venture close. And that is saying something! “The Corpse Bride”; Johnny Depp, Helena Bonhem-Carter (spelling??) to name the main stars - an animation that is as gripping and entertaining as any live flick you are likley to see, some may not warm to this film but I liked it, puts a nice “different” slant on the classic fairytail - good work Tim!!

…Wine all gone now, so i am going to chill out and grab an earlier than usual Friday night.

…My back hearts in my chest area, and I have a very tight chest right now, so being the kind soul am I have struggled into work anyways to share my new found pain with everyone!! had to really, lot’s still to do and also my car needed popping in for it service…(trepidation…angst…etc)….

I’m waiting for the garage to ring me back this afternoon.
