DVI to HDMI… (or my TV sux)

Update >> I just tested it again by connecting my work laptop through a docking station (which just so happens to have DVI output) - and bingo same symptom as before, so my PC and Video Card are off the hook! It’s either the TV itself don’t like me or the Cable I got is faulty.

….(mumbles something about the dark ages under breath)…

This reminds me of something that happened to my brother. I had just bought an audio connector to hook my PC up to my stereo. My bro being the techy in the family didn’t want to be outdone by big sis so went and bought himself a cable and hooked it up to his stereo…unfortunately his stereo wasn’t compatible and after a big bang and some smoke wasn’t working anymore!

Not that I’m saying you’re going to blow up your TV!!

Pity you don’t know any one technically minded isn’t Damo?

What do you do for a living again? And how many awards have you won lately??
