Geek inside trying to escape (HELP!!)

Just a quick post from my spare PC in the lounge hooked upto to my 37″ LCD HD TV….(YIKES)….

I’m struggling to get the DVI to HDMI conversion working though? Seems to be a bit of oversampling going on, with my screen, everything is just kinda …***GREEN*** which doesn’t really help me on my quest for High Definition glory :(

Oh well…back to the drawing board….(literally)

    Hello Damo,

    Try DOOM and KING KONG on your 37″ you’ll love them.

    I watched them both over the holidays on my modest screen and they were brill. (Is brill still un-trendy?)

    p.s. why is it that you had a go at me for as you put it “compensating” by having a big screen and yet you can quite freely brag about your 37″ HD LDC TV??? Is this a touch of double standards? ;o)

    All trendiness aside though — – > double standards?, my 37″ LCD will out live your 42″ Plasma statistically speaking, but I guess your right, where mine is concerned - it supports both 1080i and 720p HD so there’s your double standards my friend :)
