…well!! I actually got up at 6am as I planned to ALL weekend, started with an exercise routine I have put together, and I am still sticking with it, so far I have lost nearly 1/2 inch off my waste size, and I feel GREAT!!
Although (knowing me) I will continue to drive to work until the weather is a little more gaurenteed… :P

Hope everyone in blog land has a superb week! AND - Many Happy Returns to COMEDY DAVE… al la Radio One Breakfast Show!!

AND! I haven’t even packed yet? Being a bloke - I can of course pack successfully 3.5 hours prior to the flight itself - without any unecessary “Faffing” about. When I get out to Hong Kong I hope to be able to update my Blog every day, or at least every other day! With lots and lots of pictures! hehe..

Anyways - back to the here and now, I had a small lie in this morning, got up, and went straight into my exercise routine, 10mins on the Abs Master, then about an hour on the bike, with soothing music in the back-ground (Depeche-Mode….yeah yeah ok!!!); I am now feeling quite exhilerated by my morning start, and I am sipping some lovelly FRESH coffee from my recently arrived DeLonghi Coffe/Espresso/Cappuccino Machine (mum would be so Proud jealous!)

I went to a committee meeting last night for the Band, and I am now the chairman of the centenary committee which has now been formed, there are a few irons in the pot. As next year Frodsham Silver Band becomes 100!!! wuwuwuw!! Party time! Anyways, if I don’t manage to update this blog again this weekend it’s because I am revamping the Brass Band Website in line with the centenary stuff…you’re only 100 once ya know!

Depending on how much we manage to raise in the centenary fund, details of which I will talk about after I come back from Hong Kong - there are a number of things I would like to achieve for the band.

For those of you wondering about me and Dizzy? Yes we are still good friends, but given all she has been through recently I don’t want to crowd her… it’s all about small moves - you know where I am hun!

(And no I didn’t wet the bed ok?)

…Did some Reiki work last night, and invariably I tend to wake up a little earlier the next morning when this happens; couple with the the fact my sister txt’d me in the middle of the night also interrupting the flow of my nightly rest….sometimes I think she forget’s the time difference between here and Hong Kong!

Time for another blast from the past! This time it’s me….when I was 11 Years old!!! Holding onto one of my pet fantail doves - this one is called “Chippy” cos he was kicked out of his hutch by the parents for being an ugly duckling…I successfully hand bred him, and he soon made peace with his parents :P

Chippy on my arm...and oh look I

It’s a funny thing to come across old photo’s of when you were little, it subtly reminds you….you’re an old git!

Sigh. I am often tempted to get more doves in my adult years, they were fun! If not a little different from your average Cat or Dog, these freaks (one in particular > “Tig” a tamed bird from the local botanical gardens in Southport) used to fly upside down across the top of the very ampley sized Aviary and tease the local cat population! Ah those were the days!

Hehe….Just got me to wondering anyways, apart from cats and dogs….what is the wierdest or least mainstream pet you have ever had and why did you have one (or more you freaks)?
