..well,

after a wander around the markets of Wan Chai yesterday, and an evening in with Louise’s excellent cooking - we had a prawn pasta dish with white wine sauce, courgettes and some salad…It went down very well indeed; I of course offered to do the washing up and er (cough) nobody disagreed hehehe (me and my big mouth).

This morning I am up rather early, though from the UK point of view I guess it’s “Extremley” early at 2am…today depending on how Ali feels (he is coming down with a bit of a cold) we will be going to the Big Buddah on Lan Tau Island. I hope we make it Our plan for tomorrow (the midway marker of my break) is to go along to the grand opening of a new bar in Wan Chai; free food and drinks! Can’t argue with that?) - I’ll be sure to take lot’s more pictures real soon.

During this quiet reprive I thought I would say a little more about where my sister lives, Happy Valley; it’s not too far away from Wan Chai and Central, and we are fortunate to be located virtually right next to the Happy Valley Race-Curse (Next wedensday we are going there to take in the races), the more I see; the more I realise this is such a great place to live and work. The quality of life in Hong Kong is far better than we are likley to see in the UK or anywhere else for that matter…oh well, back to enjoying my holiday; which is already passing by way too quickly.
