…I have been playing with bits of Java code tonight, “assimilating” it into my blog in such a way that it would appear to the naked eye to be seemless (yeah go on prove me wrong…won’t take much!)…

I now employ Lightbox2 scripting to add a bit of flashiness to my pics, This is probably the closest I would get to “Chaving up my motor” in the webpage sense…

Simply click on this pic I took earlier today at work, of our resident ducklings recently hatched!  Yes we have some Mallards that come to our meager place of work - but to my knowledge this is the first time they have actually nested and had little ones!!

Blackbean sauce anyone?

All thanks go to Nikki for telling me her secrets!  mmmmwah!!

…I only had my car serviced 4 months ago, and it was a major service so the brakes ought to have been checked! Suffice to say, I am now in the position where I can’t drive safelfy until it has been sorted..

I took it to National Tyres, and they did their checks.  Now I don’t have a fancy car it’s a simple Citroen C2, Insurance Group 1 etc…  They told me that both the Discs and the Pads needed doing on the front, now here’s the shocker for £258.00!!!

Now considering you can buy the parts for £13 and £18 a piece, that’s a HECK of a markup and no mistake.  I have of course told them where to go.  Until I can sort out an alternative that doesn’t cost me the Earth.

Lesson learned today is, just because a High Street garage gives you a price - it doesn’t mean it is the cheapest or the best…I’m gonna shop round from now on.
