…My pride and joy is back in one piece, and thankfully not to the tune of nearly £270!! A couple of mates from work decided to take pity on me, and well, when it involves things like my car and parting with lots of money just after pay day!  I’m not proud;

Well, as you can see from these pictures (to me anyway) it looked like open heart surgery!

It certainly was an education to watch the breaking mechanism, and the order in which things needed to be done, you know….move car to area, park up, watch as guys crack on, go inside have a cuppa and come out when it’s done…  etc….

Although I ultimatley accept culpability for buying cheap £”$$% from the French; by rights when I had my main service 4 months ago I should have been given an advisory on the state of these…despite them ticking my log book merrily to say they had checked the pads, breaks AND calipers!

A lesson learned here I think you will all agree!
