CYBEREVOLUTION

Reading this —> HERE <— I am not at all surprised, I came close to this myself about a year and a half ago.  Given that I have only had 1 cost of living pay rise in my job in over 5 years, the cost of living has risen, I think you can appreciate the problems many people face as many employers become less willing to meet the living needs of its staff; many employers find it difficult I am sure, because of mergers, demergers upsizing, downsizing muddying the waters on the playing field.

Once upon a time, I would have been bitter.  Then I realised, that’s what C.V.’s were invented for :P  Trouble is if you get too comfortable in a job like me, it becomes like a family, you have the odd argument, but at the same time you love it and will put up with a lot. 

Well, I am beginning to feel like it’s time this fledginling flew the coup, especially when I learn what a jump I could get externally for a similar position!  I can see opportunities that could really change my life if I work hard enough at it (I still believe you don’t get something for nothing, or just by asking)…and it’s about time I stopped window shopping and actually walked through a few doors, unless of course my current employer suddenly realise my current worth and do something about it
