Although cemented in my cause and minus a few technological dinosaus - my progress has slowed a little in the sort out my house department, only by the fact I am discovering things I had completley forgotten.  Like drafts papers from a Novel I have been writting for ever (I started it back when I was in university)…

The particular draft in this case describes the funeral of Princess Melissa the mother of the hero of this story “Jason” - she gave birth to him and died in the process; this story is set in a rather medieval time where medicine was more by accident than by design.  The working title for this book when I started it was “The Chronicles of the Son” and I intended this to be a trilogy, Book one - obviously charts Jason’s birth and growth to puberty and early adulthood.  Book Two was to be the main adventure, where he becomes aware of his true nature and impact on the world around him.  With Book Three as a kind of “Bringing things back home” or “Coming full circle” kinda thing…

I haven’t event finished book one yet, so two and three only exist in snippets and ideas in my head.  Though I am not giving up hope on it, I mean CRIKEY! It took JRR Tolkein over twenty years to write Lord of the Rings and he wasn’t a writer by trade either (he was more the linguist if I recall?) and I have been at this little oak seed of mine for less than 15 years so - by my reckoning I still have at least 5 years to come up with ”my” best seller…..right?

…meanwhile back in the “real” world another rocking episode of Torchwood - way to go BBC!!!
