Subconjunctival Haemorrhage

Although quite alarming to look at, it would appear to be quite harmless, usually brought on by a sudden trauma via coughing/sneezing or vomitting…..ah yes, now I see…..I was rather violently sick on New Years Eve, this could have been the starting point and then since then I have been coughing and spluttering with my blocked sinuses all adding to the pressure, it really doesn’t surprise me that it happened now.
It should gradually disappear over the next couple of weeks. So we shall see…I might keep a picture diary of how it heals - you know?! just to complete my sad geekiness….
In other news I looked at what I could buy if I won the Euromillions on Friday, how about this for starters? A Castle on approximatley 300 Acres?! Gyrn Castle
that would make a fine “Holistic” retreat or exsclusive hotel don’t ya think? And a snip at around £6-£8 Million!
Built in around 1850 it certainly is a fairly young castle, owned by the opulent Bates Shipping family, little or no of their grandeur remains other than the building itself now. It was last occupied by Sir Geoffrey Bates, the fifth baronet of Bellefield County, Lancaster, he became High Sherrif of Flyntshire in 1959, and also gained rank of Major in the Cheshire Yeomanry, he was a Captain of the 8th Hessars in the 2nd World War and received the Military Cross for his part. He lived at the castle from 1957 until his death in 2005. Now although a young castle, this certainly sounds like a fine pedigree!
Just have to keep my fingers crossed on Friday
