Thanks to some security flaws under one of my subdomains, some clever ar$ehole managed to install some kind of “phishing” paypal type site, effectively superceding my site.  Ultimatley in causing my host to suspend my account….  one lengthy international phonecall later, I have managed to delete the offending files, and now know what to look out for in the future, plus my host have kindly reactivated my account…

but this sort of thing really takes the biscuit!  When the more domestic website enthusiast like myself is maliciously targetted in this fashion.  GRRRR!

I am for the time being blaming an out dated installation of PHP-Nuke, which I never got round to deleting, and upon checking the MySQL Database associated with it, found the size to be disproportionate to my use of the site, at over 180 Meg!!  Suffice to say, it no longer exists…

Yesterday I journeyed up to Gretna (and for what reason can you guess?) - nearly right!?  it “was” a wedding, but not me :P - I went to see one of my bessy fwends/and colleague Jackie tie the knot with Tony her partner for a good few years.

Wedded bliss ;D

A great time was had by one and all, and it was great to meet more of Jackie and Tony’s family and friends.  Though from hence forth I will be known as “Jimmy” for the part I played in proceedings :P - I wouldn’t say this wedding didn’t have it’s hitches, the drizzelly rain persisted right up to the big moment at the Forge chapel at the Mill Hotel in Gretna; but despite that the day remained a light hearted and memorable occasion for all.

Well Done…to the newly wed Mr and Mrs Ridgway (nee Slater)
