Whilst I waited for the laundry to get done this morning, I nipped to the cinema which has become soomething of a tradition by now for me. I watched a film that I have waited a long time to see! Beowolf. well, it wasn’t a film more of a fantastically crafted computer animation which at times it was indestinguishable to the real actors behind the voices, apart from that it was a fantastic story which kept true to the spirit of the legend of Beowolf - what little I know of Teutonic Myth and legend ;P

It was not too long a film either - which makes a change these days!!! Hurra for a film less than 2 hours long?! I’d like to say that the special effects in the film were brilliant, but since the entire film was a special effect I er can’t…. despite that, I’d go and watch it…even just for the rather flattering anatomical portrayal of Angelina-Jolie who provides the voice for the the Sea Demon…one final thought on films like this, could this be the new evolution for cartoons?

Oh well….after the film was done, and so was my luandry I returned it home, and headed into town on the train for another lovelly wander in this awesome weather we have here in New Zealand at this time of year, I am told the sun is going to remain with us until at least Thursday, but then I doubt it’ll be gone for long.

Although I have been religiously slapping on the factor 30, I am surprised I haven’t caught the sun more, or even burned. It’s hard to explain but here the quality of the sun seems quite different, everywhere else I have ever visited I have burned in like 5 mins! Here….I am still trying, and well maybe this neck of the woods the sun just agrees with me more??? Well one thought is that us Saggitarians “do” rule the antipides oh well, laters, I may not blog much for a while as I am going to be pretty mad busy with the band this coming week…
