I’ve had a great afternoon!! First of all it was our department Christmas Meal, and as part of the festivities, we played a DVD Horse Racing Game (very similar to one I’ve played before - in Hong Kong!) Anyways; to add to the atmosphere, Andrew Weir (from Wellington Brass Band) and I took our instruments along to play some fanfares before each race It was a hoot….

Then once that was done it was down to Kirks (Kirckaldies and Staines) to play another set of carols precariously stood on the roof of the walkway above Lambton Quay! Fun fun fun!!!

Then finally as I prepare to make my way home, I get my first “on-call” phone call; luckilly it turned out to be nothing to do with me, and I am now back home starting my weekend!! Yippeeeeeee….

Oh…. and in other news, I fly to Hong Kong on the 21st to spend Christmas with my sister!
