You know that moment you dread, when the worst thing possible happens? No no no!! I’m NOT Pregnant!! He’s..She…er it is American?! Though the whole Pandora’s box is open now isn’t it!
Seriously though, the sale of my house in the UK just fell through, because the purchaser’s can’t find a mortgage. This is after I dropped the price by four grand too!!! I’m currently realing in shock (picture a wounded, vulnerable individual curled up into the feotal position in a corner somewhere gently rocking back and forth) o.O
…meh! “She’ll be right!!”
Once the shock has worn off, I will view this as simply a minor setback….
Now.
Would someone care to pass the Vodka..?

yes, ‘Hallmark Day’ is nearly upon us once again, that time of the year when all the attached blokes of the world rush round in a mad commercial panic to buy something soppy, pink and/or expensive for their missus in the vein hope of getting some action… just like Christmas - ‘Hallmark Day’ (aka Valentine’s Day) is way over commercialised.
The only card I am expecting that day, is an overdue card from the local library - gee fanks! I never knew they cared?
Seriously though - if I was in a relationship; I wouldn’t wait for one specific day to do something spontaneous and romantic!? I mean you can’t be more un-spontaneous by doing something on ‘Hallmark Day’ go on fella’s!! Do something unpredictable to spice up your relationships, and do ‘NOTHING’ for Valentines! If nothing else it will test just how serious she is…
so…
who’ll be my ‘anti-valentine’ this year?

Personally, for me there has been a major change since the cross over into the latest leap-year. Unfortunatley it’s not something I feel I can talk about, and so it must remain a cryptic passing remark on my blog. It’s been a close call and dragged my spirits down a fair way - I’ve lost a few days sleep because of it; though I am remaining as bouyant as I can be.
They never quite teach you at school how to deal with all the situations life throws at you. It’s a shame. Such that for me each day in itself becomes something of a lesson. I just hope the exam at the end of my life isn’t as hard as it seems right now.
Boy?! I think I could use a glass of red wine about now…lol! :uncon:

“Apparently” - Easymoney Insurance, and any insurer for that matter can take upto 15 days to update the National Insurance Database. This is in line with the current cooling off period for online purchasing etc… designed to protect the consumer, however; if you are in a situation like mine, where you need to tax a vehicle (and you want to do it online)….
it’s a pain in the proverbial BUTT! So, here I am, with a temporary mode of transport that I simply cannot use, because of the red tape setup to “protect” me as a consumer, and if you ask me why I simply don’t pop into a post office and do it over the counter?? Half the documents I need to do this; are 30 miles away is why.
In other news - went to London again today, and the news of my impending departure to one of the clients I represent was received better than expected. Meh! maybe that dissapoints me a little… always nice to see how indispensable you are (lol!! I thought I had no ego?!)…
oh well…back in “sunny” Crewe; and this time it really is sunny for a change, train journey back was delayed due to problems with the “tilt” system of the pendolino which resulted in us standing still in the middle of…er..nowhere for about half an hour….
