It’s a strange fate that follows me on my journey through this world! In just over twelve months I have made countless new friends, but recently that number has increased almost exponentially; the karma by which I live my life must be having a field day!

My philosophy has always been - “It is far better to be friends than enemies”.

The revolution I spoke of some months ago is pretty much upon us all, you simply have to read the news to recognise it. I’m no great prophet or seer. I’m just someone who read the signs in society a long time ago. The world as we know it is a changing place, a spiritual re-awakening is happening all over the world. Whether it be Herbalism, Reiki, Shamanism, Druidism or simply getting back in touch with nature….Mother Nature’s voice appears to be getting louder of late. It’s time to listen; science has had it’s turn, technology struggles on but ultimatley in the end? Nature will outlast it all!

There are energies and forces in the world that no science, technology or religion can explain. The nature of this energy is largley forgotten to the world, and yet it’s always been here, keeps us all alive. Sustains us. Evolves with us. It’s that feeling on the back of your neck when someone is watching, or that cool breezy feeling you get when you are not alone. Our basic intuitions lie dormant to their full potential. It is my goal to open my eyes once more - and see what Pandora’s box may yet reveal!

It’s a wonderful thing when you can bring hope into the heart of a complete stranger :)

I’d review in more detail after seeing this film, but I’ll just recommend you go and see it! Possibly Brad Pitt’s most comedic role to date, and a surprising exit from the film as you watch this romptastic farce based upon misunderstandings between pretty much all parties concerned. Strong roles from all the big names in this, including George Clooney, John Malkovich, Tilda Swinton and France McDormand to name a few….

I loved this film, and would certainly give it another watch! You may need a cup of coffee before commencing your viewing however; as you need to stay fairly alert to keep on top of the various twists and turns in the crazy plot.

What did ‘you’ think of the film…? Drop your comments here!

In other news yes I did dress up in Leiderhosen Shorts, braces and cap for the Octoberfest Beer Band Gig, we played really well all things considered, and even chucked out a rendition of ‘Eye of the Tiger’…good stuff!!

Mood : amused  Music : 1234 - Feist

Sunshine….you are the food from which I drink!! This has been an AWESOME weekend so far.

Started with a dinner-party-esque meal with Caroline (Jason and I fixed her computer a couple of weeks ago this was our reward - hehe) anyway, it was an amazing meal thank you again Caroline!! I’m coming round for tea again!

Then we head into town to meet up with a colleague for his leaving do, I met up with Nimue (cutest ever employee at MSD) and Laura (read the bit in brackets next to Nimue I hate repeating myself) at Laura’s flat, technically out on the town with Jason, another Laura and Caroline; other Laura and Caroline pike out (which I suspected would happen)….and the rest of us party hungry animals basically started in good fashion with vodka, and every shot you could imagine under the sun, most of the names are NOT repeatable here. The night of Friday gets a little hazy after a while, and the next thing I remember is waking up the next morning….in ’someones’ flat…..I do the honourable thing, and sneak out not making a noise so I can grab some much needed hangover cure….yup you guessed it - a MacDonalds Breakfast for the win!!!

So…I head home after a while, though not before tracking down ‘other Laura’ for my bag which was left in her car (think it’s complicated now?? you wait!!) anyway once I get back to my digs - Jason is waiting on the driveway….”We’re going to the zoo….’Nimue’ will be there!” well of course I instantly crumble, what else can I do for a Celtically named lady who could melt the hardest butter? …sigh if only she wasn’t happily engaged… oh well… (pauses for a moment’s lamentable silence)

…ok where were we? Ah Yes the zoo!! The sun was out, it was actually a really enjoyable afternoon, can’t remember the last time I went to a zoo for that matter? Jason spent the whole time introducaing me to the many potential relatives I have…. oh guffaw Jason you really are too funny sometimes!! (insert sarcasm here) Anyways…the sunny, balmy day rolls on and we decide to grab a meal together before hitting town for a second helping of punishment.

Of course Jason and I have different plans….before the meal we drag Laura (not other Laura) and Nimue out ten pin bowling, where the girls and Jason proceed to humiliate me with their skills….or perhaps it was just the fact I was…um….crap!! We go the the Hog’s Breath for some steak where I console myself with the food on the plate in front of me, and the delightful company surrounding me.

Saturday night we head back into town (seperatly) as Laura and Nimue have their own plans. hazily Saturday night passes us by, until about 1am I catch up with Jason again in town and we ‘bump’ into Laura (with military like precision), no sign of Nimue….. (insert another moment of lamentable silence here) oh well I ‘did’ get to meet Sophie, Laura’s twin sister so it wasn’t a complete downer for me…shame she was a mute, who hates any form of eye-contact I’ve never seen such closed off body language in a woman as hot as that in my life….it SCREAMED OUT….”Sorry hun….I have issues, about a million of them, feel free to chip away but you’ll be wasting your time”…..since I don’t have ‘that’ kind of patience I decide to hit the eject button.

I pike out on the evening and head home, ok….I lasted till after 1am so I guess that’s something; and here we are in Sunday; the Sun is out again, soothing my alcoholically induced woes and I sit recounting my weekend adventure here; whilst my laundry somewhere down High Street hits the spin cycle…

I think I might head out now for a refreshing walk :D

As a closing note, I’d like to say that Ryan - Nimue’s intended is possibly the luckiest guy on the planet right now, high five dude!!
