I’ve just come back from another one of those ’speed-dating’ things at a bar called D4 in town, and well; whilst I wasn’t initially planning on going to this, I went anyway. I didn’t go with much of a game-plan either; just thought it would be good to mingle and meet new people!
Of course that is exactly what I did, it was a very relaxed atmosphere; and I will probably go again the next time it’s on. I have to say though…having spoken to a number of the ladies there I discovered some of them have had some very interesting jobs; from driving articulated lorries in the UK to….well…you may actually want to sit down here…Bovine Spermologist…yes, that’s right folks I spoke to a lady that actually transports and delivers - Bull’s jizz….
…Let’s just say I was speechless for a whole 3 seconds!! WOW!
“Cum again?” - I said mockingly….
No really!!!

Many congratulations!!
After one of the longest labours I have heard of in a long while, you have become a new mum! I am sooooo happy for you
I am also incredibly made up that my vibe for a boy was on the money…
Welcome to the world Charles Alexander (Charlie), and may you bring positive change for all our futures…
For those not in the know, Anna is a good friend and former colleagues from my UK days!
Lol listen to me…..’my UK days’, I say it so nonchalently (spelling?)

Mood : numb
Last of my Grandparents, “Granny Smith”; my Grandma - was found dead this weekend. She’d had heart troubles recently, and since moving down to Wales it’s possible she had become a little isolated. It’s completley sudden, and none of us quite know what to do or say.
So close to losing Aunty Mary too…they say often deaths in the family happen in near succession. One way of looking at this is, that my trip to New Zealand will begin on a low note, so the only way is up.
Once I know the funeral arrangments I’ll travel down to Tenby, South Wales, book into a Travelodge and gather with the rest of the family. It will be a time when many of us meet again for the first time in over 20 years!
Life doesn’t half throw complicated curve-balls every now and again!!

Yesterday I journeyed up to Gretna (and for what reason can you guess?) - nearly right!? it “was” a wedding, but not me
- I went to see one of my bessy fwends/and colleague Jackie tie the knot with Tony her partner for a good few years.

A great time was had by one and all, and it was great to meet more of Jackie and Tony’s family and friends. Though from hence forth I will be known as “Jimmy” for the part I played in proceedings
- I wouldn’t say this wedding didn’t have it’s hitches, the drizzelly rain persisted right up to the big moment at the Forge chapel at the Mill Hotel in Gretna; but despite that the day remained a light hearted and memorable occasion for all.
Well Done…to the newly wed Mr and Mrs Ridgway (nee Slater)
