Seriously though, the sale of my house in the UK just fell through, because the purchaser’s can’t find a mortgage. This is after I dropped the price by four grand too!!! I’m currently realing in shock (picture a wounded, vulnerable individual curled up into the feotal position in a corner somewhere gently rocking back and forth) o.O

…meh! “She’ll be right!!”

Once the shock has worn off, I will view this as simply a minor setback….

So anyway, her tunes will be available through iTunes soon! Meanwhile I am soooo getting a copy (original and maybe signed if I can twist her arm) before she gets UBER famous?! :loopy: anyhooo to slightly paraphrase her myspace description she grew up surrounded by folk music, which is so very often the best pedigree for great and lyrical musicians.

….ah, you’re back took you time didn’t you? I’ve had tea, and watched two episodes of Lost!! So, hopefully you agree with me, that this little gem is a keeper, and a very talented young lady indeed, I’ll be enquiring at work tomorrow whether she does any live gigs, so that I can go and offer my support.

Oh!! And CONGRATS to Alan Crowhurst (one of my longest standing friends since Primary School?!!) who just got married to Abby Gidman (now Crowhurst ) I wish you both all the happiness in the world, and do try and come to visit NZ sometime, so that I can properly congratulate you two!

Rumour has it I may be very close to agreeing a sale price on my house in the UK!! This is like a major jigsaw piece in the puzzle called my life :happy: and to achieve this within 3 months of moving to NZ too….this is well….it’s AWESOME!! not to mention in todays property climate. I’ll be honest I’m not getting the full asking price but it fits all other criteria of paying off my mortgage etc… which is the crucial thing; just hope I can get the ball rolling properly by Friday.

I have the strong urge to go out and party like a party animal! :loopy:
